Here are some recent stories of our FAC family living OUT as missionaries everywhere, all the time…

Prayer before everything…FAC’s monthly prayer gathering:

During the last two prayer gatherings (our next one will be March 2nd with childcare! Please join!), we have had the joy to break up into separate groups to pray for specific needs or causes. There has been a group

that has spent significant time praying for our city, for those they care for, and our globe. We have already heard many stories of people that we have prayed for asking to hear more about Jesus or responding to a Gospel presentation. There have been sons that have joined their parents for a worship service, mothers who have allowed their sons to pray over them in Jesus’ name for the first time, and NEW BELIEVERS accepting Jesus in our sanctuary!

We will continue to prioritize prayer not only broadly for our church body but very practically for our OUTward movements. Would you continue to pray with us?

Moving from proximity to presence…rubbing shoulders with the apartments next door:

We have had great initial connects with the office and different community directors at the apartment complex near our church. We have dreamed about hosting community events, offering specific help as “chaplains”, and even providing welcome baskets from our church. These connections seem optimistic but we want to continue to pray for wisdom and favor in our interactions and dreaming. We have enjoyed proximity with this community and we are excited for a perceived open door for possibly Gospel presence there!

Would you pray for this opportunity? If you live in these apartments, would you email me?

Presence moving to Proclamation…in our living rooms!

FAC brothers and sisters have led neighbors to Christ in their own living room or around their kitchen tables…BOOM! That is so wonderful! What a gift it is to be in the “delivery room” of a new “born again” Christian. There have been stories of neighbors that totally walked from shoulder to shoulder proximity to authentic eye to eye presence. From that honest and vulnerable eye to eye presence there came a great opportunity to proclaim, heart to heart, and there was tremendous fruit! Praise God!

Would you pray for our church to continue to look for opportunities to walk through this process as everyday missionaries? Could you pray the bold prayer that your kitchen table or living room would become a spiritual “delivery room”?

First Alliance, it is a gift to be on this team with you. God is on the move, and I am excited to partner with you on His mission!

Grateful,
